Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill has made big strides this past season and he looks like he is going to be paid handsomely because of it. In his first season after being drafted 8th overall in the 2012 draft, Tannehill threw 12 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. In his second season he improved by throwing 24 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. This past season which was his third season he threw an impressive 27 touchdowns with only 12 interceptions. Now Tannehill according to the South Florida Sun Sentinel looks to be getting a deal in the neighborhood of seven years worth $105 million. According to the report the first two years of the contract would be guaranteed. Which puts his guaranteed money at about $30 million. That would be more guaranteed money then Cincinatti Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton received which was $17 million guaranteed and also more than Colin Kaepernick got which was only $12 million guaranteed. The Miami Dolphins and Ryan Tannehill are expected to have an agreement in place May which is when the Dolphins have to decide on picking Tannehill’s 5th option at $15 million.
